These terms govern your use of Voklit. By using our service, you agree to them.

1. Who We Are
Voklit is operated by Voklit LLC, a company registered in the State of Wyoming, and its HQ is in New York.

2. What Voklit Is
Voklit provides internet-based calling, messaging, and phone number services. We are not a replacement for traditional phone service and should not be relied upon for emergency calls (911). Emergency calling may not be available or may not function correctly through our service.

3. Your Account
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. If someone accesses your account, you're responsible for their activity unless you've notified us of unauthorized access.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Voklit.

4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Voklit for:
- Illegal activity of any kind
- Harassment, threats, or abuse
- Spam, robocalls, or unsolicited bulk messaging
- Fraud or impersonation
- Interfering with our systems or other users
- Reselling our service without written permission
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without refund.

5. Phone Numbers
Phone numbers provided through Voklit are licensed to you, not owned by you. We may need to reclaim or change numbers due to regulatory requirements or carrier policies. We'll give you notice when possible.
Numbers that remain inactive for 90 days or more may be reclaimed.

6. Payments & Billing
Payments are processed securely through Stripe and RevenueCat. We do not store your full payment details on our servers.
- Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or as specified)
- Usage-based charges (international calls, SMS) are deducted from your balance or billed after use
- All fees are displayed before purchase
- Prices may change with 30 days notice to existing customers
Failure to pay may result in service suspension.

7. Refunds
We want you to be happy with Voklit. Here's how refunds work:
Subscriptions
- Cancel within 48 hours of your first subscription payment for a full refund, no questions asked
- After 48 hours, subscriptions are non-refundable but you keep access until the end of your billing period
- You can cancel anytime to prevent future charges
Credits & Usage
- Unused credits are refundable within 30 days of purchase if you haven't used more than 10% of them
- Completed calls and messages are non-refundable—we pay carriers for those
If We Mess Up
- Service outages lasting more than 24 hours: we'll credit your account proportionally
- Billing errors: we'll fix it and refund the difference immediately

8. Service Availability
We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. Calls may fail due to network issues, carrier problems, or maintenance. We're not liable for missed calls, failed connections, or service outages.

9. Call Recording, Voicemail & Data Storage
Storage Location
All data is stored on servers located in the United States.
Call Recordings & Voicemail
If you use call recording or voicemail features:
- Recordings are stored in accordance with our infrastructure provider's
- You are responsible for complying with recording consent laws in your jurisdiction and the jurisdiction of the person you're calling
- You must inform the other party when required by law (many US states and countries require two-party consent)
- We store recordings securely, but you're responsible for their lawful use
- You can delete your recordings at any time from your account

10. Limitation of Liability
Voklit is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Lost profits, revenue, or data
- Failed, dropped, or poor quality calls
- Inability to reach emergency services
- Regulatory actions or fines related to your use of the service
- Actions of third parties, carriers, or infrastructure providers
Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Voklit LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms. If you disagree, you may cancel your account.

13. Termination
By You
You can cancel anytime from your account settings or by emailing [email protected].
By Us
We can suspend or terminate your account immediately for violations of these terms. For any other reason, we'll provide 30 days notice.
Upon termination, your phone numbers will be released and cannot be recovered.

14. Governing Law & Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York. You consent to the jurisdiction of these courts.

15. Severability
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

16. Entire Agreement
These terms, along with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced, constitute the entire agreement between you and Voklit LLC.
