Voklit is shutting down

I'm writing with news I'd hoped not to share: Voklit is shutting down.

I built Voklit to make having a second phone number simple, and I'm grateful you gave it a place in your life. Winding down properly matters to me, so here is everything you need to know.

Voklit shuts down on October 17, 2026. Your number, calls, and messages keep working until then. After October 17, the service stops permanently and your Voklit number will no longer work.

You won't be charged again

If you subscribed on our website or through Google Play, we've already cancelled your subscription. No action needed, and no further charges.

Apple App Store subscribers: please cancel yourself

Apple doesn't allow us to cancel App Store subscriptions on your behalf. It takes a minute: on your iPhone, go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Voklit → Cancel, or visit apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Please do this before your next renewal date.

Your Voklit number cannot be transferred

There is no way to move your Voklit number to another provider. If people reach you on it, please start moving them to another number now, and don't forget accounts that use your Voklit number for verification codes or two-factor authentication.

Save what matters

Please review your messages, voicemails, and contacts in the app and save anything important before October 17. If you need help getting your data out, email [email protected] and I'll help personally.

New signups are closed

As of September 17, 2026, Voklit no longer accepts new accounts, number purchases, or subscription upgrades.

The platform is for sale

While the service is winding down, the Voklit product itself (the source code, brand, and domains) is available to acquire. Customer data is not part of any sale and will never be transferred. If you're interested, see the details.
